Drone Use For Claims

The data and tools we have available are changing the way we farm, and even the way claims are adjusted for crop insurance. Summit Ag's producers have had drones flying their fields this growing season to help make adjustments for stand counts, identifying areas with hail & wind damage, and even to measure areas of prevent plant. One of Summit Ag's insurance providers, Crop Risk Services (CRS), has adjusters that are putting drones to work in a way that pays for producers.
