Meet the Summit Ag Insurance
I am a Business Partner and Manager of Summit Ag Insurance. I work with clients in Nebraska, Iowa, and South Dakota. Since 1997, I have been involved in the crop insurance industry. Over the years, I have seen many changes to the industry and work with clients to help make vital decisions for their operation.
I am a native of Cedar County Nebraska. I have always enjoyed rural life and have been fortunate to have been raised in that setting. Being involved in production agriculture and crop insurance has been a great way to appreciate the rural life that I grew up in.

At Summit Ag, I help farmers & ranchers make educated decisions to help manage the risks that come with running an ag operation. My role is to use data to help producers simplify and optimize their insurance options.
I grew up on a ranch north of Atkinson, NE. I started building my own cattle herd while I was in high school. I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2014. After graduating, I started my career as an Agronomy Salesman, before working as a Loan Admin for a few years. I enjoy spending time with my wife and 2 kids and I am excited to make connections with new and existing customers at Summit Ag!
At Summit Ag Insurance, I assist producers with making important crop insurance decisions for their operations and assist with their precision technology. I have a strong passion for agriculture as I have previously worked in the seed industry and as a crop consultant with many operations in Northeast Nebraska.
I am excited to be a part of the fastest-growing crop insurance agency in the Midwest servicing new and existing customers at Summit Ag.

At Summit Ag Insurance, I enjoy working with our clients to accurately report and verify their planted acreage and production. I love learning new things and always strive to stay on top of the ever changing and growing crop insurance industry.
My husband, Aaron, and I have two children, Finley and Teagan. We love spending time outdoors and spending time with our extended families. I began working at Summit Ag Insurance in August of 2019.

At Summit Ag Insurance, I enjoy helping clients with insurance coverages and questions. Education is an important aspect of my career, as well. I spend much of my time educating clients on what they need to insure and why.
I grew up in Cherokee County, IA where I farmed with my Grandfather and Father for many years. I completed my undergraduate studies at BVU in Storm Lake, IA where I met my wife, Jackie. I completed my multiple masters degrees and Doctorate degree in St. Louis at Washington University. Jackie and I raised two boys in Sioux City, IA, Jackson and Kenneth, and Jackson has a daughter, Scarlett, as our first grandchild. My family enjoys working on and driving cars, telling stories and spending our free time together.

At Summit Ag Insurance, I assist producers with their precision technology. Farmers are able to insure their actual acres and use their data for harvesting records. This new technology is very beneficial to the producers.
I attended college at UNL where I graduated with a degree in Ag Economics and Ag Business. While in college, I was a member of the AGR fraternity. After college, I returned to my home town of Pender, NE where I farm and am an active member of the Northeast Nebraska Corn Growers Association. I have been working at Summit Ag Insurance since 2012.

At Summit Ag, I assist farmers in making their crop insurance decisions that best fits their needs. My role is to help producers look at insurance on a field by field basis and make the best decision as a whole for their operation.
I am a recent graduate at University of Nebraska Lincoln. After graduating, I decided to return to my hometown of Wisner. It is near Wisner that my family farms. Farming has had a strong impact on my life and career, so I am excited to return to the area to help serve farmers in the area.

Agriculture has always been a huge part of my life since I was a little girl riding in a tractor with my dad. I recently graduated from the University of Nebraska- Lincoln, obtaining a degree in Ag Business. After graduating I now reside in Wisner where I continue to pursue my passion for connecting with producers and being involved in production ag. I am excited to be a part of an innovative crop insurance company that is continuing to find new ways to provide the best to our customers.

By helping out on my family's cow-calf and show pig operations agriculture has always been a large part of my life. I recently graduated from the University of Nebraska Lincoln with a bachelor's degree in Animal Science. I have always has a strong passion for agriculture and am happy to say that I can continue to pursue that here at Summit Ag Insurance.

At Summit Ag Insurance, I enjoy working with clients by presenting them with the information they need to make some of their important decisions, especially with marketing their crops. Each grower is met with on an individual basis to review their personalized field plan.
I began working at Summit Ag Insurance in 2015. My husband and I farm near our hometown of Hoskins where we raised our three daughters and now enjoy watching our grandchildren grow up. I am a past 4-H leader, EMT and Fireman for a volunteer squad.

At Summit Ag Insurance, I love helping out wherever I am needed. I spend time helping the agents and crop data specialists, and also work on marketing for Summit Ag Insurance. I am excited to continue to grow with the company and meet some amazing people along the way.
I grew up in Pierce, Nebraska and recently moved to Snyder. In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors, and spending time with my family and friends.
At Summit Ag Insurance, I have the benefit of assisting our agents and clients with accurate acreage and production reports. My goal is to make the process as quick, clean, and easy as possible. I love learning new skills and enjoy expanding my insurance background at Summit. Whatever it may be, I am happy to help!
I grew up on a sod farm outside of Bancroft, NE. I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Business and Marketing degree with a Finance minor. While in Lincoln, I worked as an insurance adjuster for 2 years. My spouse and I recently relocated to a farmstead outside of Pender, NE. The small-town life has our hearts. We love to spend every moment we can outside doing chores, yard work, and relaxing.

Heather started her insurance career in 2005. She has extensive knowledge in personal lines insurance and has worked for both captive and independent insurance agencies. She's been in customer service, sales, training, and agency support roles. When Heather’s not busy discussing coverage and providing clients options to ensure they are appropriately covered, she enjoys traveling, fishing, and being outdoors.
Heather is Summit Ag Insurance’s Senior Account Manager. Her focus is to provide renewal reviews, coverage counseling, and to provide servicing to existing clients while also prospecting, quoting, and writing new policies.

At Summit Ag Insurance, I am part of the Property & Casualty and Health & Life team providing administrative support and assistance in servicing our customers with the best coverage at competitive rates. My previous employment included legal, administrative and client relations experience in property damage and personal injury claims.
My family and I are deeply rooted in the community. My husband and I both grew up in Cuming County and our two sons were the fourth generation of Riefs to grow up on the Rief family farm.

At Summit Ag Insurance, I work in the Property and Casualty department as an account representative. It is my responsibility to protect the hard work of our clients and to provide a plan that works best for them, as the insurance world is ever changing. I am excited to be working with all of the clients, new and existing.
I attended Northeast Community College and obtained my Agri-Business degree. During my time in college, I worked at West Point Livestock Auction. I currently live south of West Point on the farm with my husband. During our free time you can find us at the horse race track, on the river in our jeep, or at home hanging out with our 2 dogs.

My focus is to make sure that our clients can have ease of mind knowing that we are taking care of the details for them.
I recently relocated to West Point, but I am a Nebraska girl born and raised! I grew up on an acreage outside of Hubbard, Nebraska. I graduated from Northeast Community College with a degree in business administration and real estate. In my spare time I enjoy traveling, camping, watching some Husker football & spending time with my friends and family.

I grew up on a farm in Colfax County. After graduating from Howells High School, I attended Wayne State College earning a degree in education. My husband Dave and son Nathan are currently farming and raising cattle here
in Cuming County. We also have a daughter Teresa who teaches in Lincoln. We have been blessed with a wonderful son-in-law, a daughter-in-law, and three grandchildren

I grew up in Iowa, moving to Nebraska about 12 years ago. I planted my roots in Scribner, NE a little over 7 years ago. Over the years, I have grown to love the small-town feel. I have a passion for traveling and experiencing different parts of the world. In my spare time, I enjoy being outdoors and spending time with my spouse, family, and friends.

I grew up working on the family farm near Lyons and went on to graduate from NCTA, Curtis with an Ag Business degree. After college, I started work at the Cuming County FSA Office retiring in 2021. I look forward to continuing to serve farmers in the area. I’m married with one son, Bryce. We enjoy the outdoors, especially snowmobiling and UTV rides in the mountains. We are active in the NE State Snowmobile Association and our local club.
